Home Groups are ongoing relational communities where people are known, formed by Scripture, welcomed into God’s presence, cared for, and equipped to do the works of Jesus together.

Groups may look different by season, neighborhood, and purpose. These five commitments keep us recognizably Vineyard.
Word
Scripture is understood, discussed, and applied.
Worship
We turn toward God and welcome His presence.
Works
We pray, serve, and practice the works of Jesus.
Witness
We remain outward-facing and make room for others.
Flexible by design
Not every group follows the same script.
Some groups revisit Sunday’s sermon. Others study Scripture, work through an approved book or video series, gather around prayer and worship, serve the neighborhood, or build community around a season of life.

Home Group FAQ
Are Home Groups the same as “Kinships”?
Home Groups is our public name because it is immediately understandable to newcomers. The relational intention behind Kinships—shared life, care, formation, and ministry—remains.
Do all Home Groups use the same curriculum?
No. Groups share the same Vineyard DNA while using different formats. Outside books, video studies, and curricula are reviewed by Kevin King or John Ambrose for theological alignment before use.
What about children?
Family and childcare arrangements vary by group. Each listing should explain its current arrangement so families can make an informed choice.
Are the leader materials final?
Not yet. The current materials are working drafts. Leaders are helping refine the framework before it is finalized.
